Paul Chucrallah Fund Manager at Berytech Fund 2 || Lebanon

Paul Chucrallah, is the Managing Director of Berytech Fund II. His responsibilities span the commercial, investment and administrative sides of the business. Berytech Fund II is a venture capital fund established under the aegis of circular 331 initiative of the Central Bank of Lebanon, and has 19 banks as its shareholders, with commitments of more than $50M. It had its formal launch ceremony in February 2015, after more than two years of intensive efforts on the structuring and fund raising sides, and leveraging the extensive network of relationships developed and maintained by Berytech over the years.

Paul has been part of the Berytech team since 2010, both on the incubation & hosting side, and on the fund management side, having started at first as advisor to Berytech Fund I, where he participated in the negotiation and realization of a number of transactions, including subsequent follow-up and representation of the fund on the boards of the portfolio companies. He was later in charge of the management of the two Berytech sites in Beirut.

Prior to that, he had held senior positions with various Lebanese Investment and Commercial Banks, including instances where he worked intensively on fund raising and corporate finance.
He holds a diploma in Telecommunication and Electrical Engineering from ESIB – USJ in Beirut, and an M.B.A. from INSEAD – Fontainebleau.
